A day, a week, a month, 8 1/2 years go by, Take 2
I must really wantdo this because whatever I saved and did not save, I have lost.
I am now typing this up on Word where I know I can save it and see it again.
As I frequently say, “Don’t blink, or a day, a week, a month, or in this case 8 ½ years will go by. Back in 2010, Faith was 18 and in her senior year of college at UCCS. She has been working as an editor from her condo since she graduated as their youngest at the time. Al was in high school, graduating from UCCS in 2016 and being recruited straight away by the Pueblo Police Department, where he has just had his 2nd anniversary. He has been commuting from his condo in the Springs but in January his new house 10 minutes from work will be done.
I am now semi-retired since I sold my Black Forest B&B in March of 2017 that I ran as a sole proprietor since 1990. Whew! I now only have a condo rental to keep track of. I am still a broker with The Rawhide Company Realtors since 1986. I tell my broker, Doug Barber, that he is my longest lasting relationship.
Back in 2011, Collin Spears found me on Zillow .com. I met a strange man in a vacant house in the woods. What could probably go wrong? We spent 3 months finding him the perfect house for the woman he was going to marry. I really had a crush on him as my friends have reminded me. We found him the house, I sent my cleaning and wedding peeps to him and he married the wrong Susan.
Fast forward 4 years and I get a text saying “This is C.L. Do you remember me?” Being the consummate professional that I am, I looked up his records and replied, “Do you mean C.L. Spears on Delwood Drive?” He replied, “Do you know another?” Long story short, he was now unmarried, retiring and wanting to sell his house and buy one in Montana, and one in Florida. Instead we have been married for 2 ½ years and I am living in the house that I helped him pick out in 2011.
My other carrot for selling the B&B was our new to us Airstream trailer that we bought last year and have gone south in March to warm up.
Of course, what has not changed is my passion for Saving A Heart A Day with ProArgi-9. My mom and I have been taking it since 2005 and both have the arteries of a 19 year old. So always being ahead of the current culture, I have been self-identifying as a 19 year old for the past 45+ years as I will start using my MediCare card next month. How can that be so?
We shall now see if I can keep this up now that I have more time on my hands.
